Jackfruit is the world's largest tree-borne fruit. When peeled and deseeded, the golden "bulbs" are revealed. It is highly prized for its unique, bubblegum-like tropical aroma and its firm, meaty texture.

Seasonality: In Thailand, jackfruit is available year-round, but the peak season is during the Rainy Season to early Winter (May – December), when the fruit is exceptionally large and sweet.
Flavor & Texture: Intensely sweet with notes of pineapple, mango, and banana. The texture is firm, crisp, and fibrous, which is why it is often used as a natural meat substitute in its unripe state.


Primary uses:
